About Kery
Hi, I’m Kery! Art is my meditation, my sanctuary, and my voice when I feel lost.
Born and raised in Colorado, I’ve been inspired by the breathtaking landscapes and rich Southwestern art culture. With a BFA in Painting from Metropolitan State University of Denver, I’ve explored various career paths but always return to art to nourish my soul.
Through my sketchbook, oil paintings, watercolor doodles, and fiber works, I attempt to convey an appreciation for the natural world and our place in it. I am especially drawn to landscapes and architecture in the southwest and aim to emulate some of the great artists like Georgia O'Keeffe and Erin Hanson. Through art, I get to be playful and not take life quite so seriously. I hope you find something that speaks to you and inspires you to pick up your chosen medium and see where it takes you!
