“Her Prairie Fire” is a mixed-media self-portrait from the Floral Forms series. In this work, the uterus takes shape through two distinct flowers—an orchid and a red Indian paintbrush. Together, they embody resilience, renewal, and the complexity of reproductive health.

The composition reflects on experiences of medical intervention and the return to natural cycles, offering a meditation on healing, change, and the personal landscapes each journey creates.
