Kery O'Sullivan Arts
Why Watercolor? Why Landscapes?
Blending a love for nature and art, the artist began painting outdoors while hiking, biking, and running through Colorado. What started as a practical way to enjoy both passions has become a meaningful practice of slowing down and connecting with the world.
Watercolor’s fluidity allows for quickly capturing shifting colors and light—soft purples of distant peaks, the glow on rocky trails, rippling water—before the moment passes. Each painting is a snapshot of a fleeting, magical experience that deepens an appreciation for every adventure.

About Kery
Hi, I'm Kery O'Sullivan, the artist behind Trailside Expressions. My journey as a Colorado-based artist is deeply intertwined with the landscapes I explore on foot, bike, or trail run. Each piece, whether a watercolor field study or a larger oil painting, is created en plein air, capturing the immediate beauty of nature. My work reflects a commitment to sustainability and a passion for the outdoors, offering art that resonates with fellow adventurers and nature enthusiasts.
Kenna Allen Arts
This collection includes two thoughtful bodies of work, both inspired by the artist’s fascination with anatomy and the outdoors:
- "Meditative 14ers" – A series of small black-and-white meditative acrylic paintings capturing Colorado’s iconic 14,000-foot peaks, grouped by mountain range.
- "Floral Forms" – A series of mixed media drawings that reimagine flowers in the shapes of reproductive organs, celebrating life, form, and connection between human and botanical anatomy.
All pieces are printed on Archival Matte Fine Art Paper, preserving the detail, texture, and thoughtfulness behind each original.

About Kenna
A dedicated student of art since 2009, Kenna brings a unique perspective shaped by a deep interest in portraiture, anatomical study, and the natural world. With a background in massage therapy and a passion for hiking and backpacking, her work bridges the organic structure of the human body with the wild, living forms found in nature.
Heavily influenced by Leonardo da Vinci, Kenna's practice is rooted in observation, precision, and curiosity. Her stylized compositions explore the shapes, curves, and inner architecture of the body—not simply as a subject, but as nature itself. Through this lens, anatomy becomes a pathway to understanding the individual more deeply, revealing the visceral unity between humans and the environment.
